The process in which we make caricatures of people is quite simple.

First of all, we need photos of the people you want to give this unique gift to.

Remember that this photo has to be of good quality, well lit and not blurry (this is the most important thing?

Once we have the photo, we use a digital tablet on which we make all the strokes by hand.

First of all, we outline the contour of the figures, once the contour is finished, we begin to add color and once the color is added, we exaggerate the facial features that you specify.

Each cartoon is totally unique, no two are the same.

The entire process, from the moment you place your order until we send you the first version of the cartoon, usually takes between 24 and 48 business hours (Monday through Friday).

Requirements for the portrait

The requirements to place your order are very simple:

You need to know which photo you're going to choose so we can take the portrait: this photo you're going to choose has to be of good quality, ideally not blurry, pixelated, or dark.

It has to have good lighting and you have to see people's faces clearly.

How can I order my custom portrait?

Once you have your photo(s) ready, the next step is to choose the type of portrait you want for your photo. We currently have two different styles, which you can see below and compare: original style (a more detailed and realistic style) or minimal style (a simpler style).

Once you're clear on which style to choose, it's time to give us all the possible details of the photo. You'll find this on their respective product pages: how many people will appear in the portrait, what type of background you want (a flat color or do you want us to draw the background of the original image?)

Are you planning to add or remove any elements? This is your time to make your request. In the additional instructions box, you can add any details you'd like. Try to be as specific as possible because the artist will read this (although if we have any questions, we'll always contact you before we start drawing).

Once you have all these details ready, the next step is to place your order. Simply add your portrait to your cart and make the payment. Once this is done, you won't have to do anything else. Just wait between 24 and 48 hours for us to send you a WhatsApp message with the result.

Can I put several people together in the same portrait?

It's entirely possible. We often want to remember family members who are no longer with us, or simply add them because they couldn't be with us on the day that special photo was taken.

We can put several people together in a single portrait without any problem.

Just upload all the photos you have (if you have them from different positions and perspectives, even better) and we'll take care of putting them all together.

Styles of portraits we do

We currently do 2 styles of portraits: minimal and original.

The minimal style is designed for people who want a simple portrait, without much detail and few embellishments. In this style, the eyes aren't drawn, but the mouths and noses of each person are (although you can request that we not do this). This style is ideal if your photos aren't very high-quality.

The original style is our most detailed portrait, with all the details of the face, eyes, nose, mouth, and shadows drawn in. It's a style that attempts to be more realistic. This style is perfect for close-up photos.

Deadlines and delivery times

Delivery times vary depending on several factors: the dates and the format of your portrait.

Regarding dates, on special occasions like Valentine's Day, Christmas, and other important dates, we may experience some delays, but you will always receive your drawing before the special date.

You should typically receive your drawing in digital format within 24 to 48 hours of placing your order.

Once you receive it, you can request any changes you want, but if you're happy with the result, you can request that we print it immediately.

Once you give us the go-ahead, we'll send it to print, and turnaround times vary from 1 to 3 business days after you give us the go-ahead.

Please note that if you approve on a Tuesday at 6:00 PM, we'll start counting the workdays from Wednesday.

The total time from placing your order until you receive your printed portrait at home, ready to hang, is approximately 5 to 7 business days.
