How do you make a caricature of a person?

The process in which we make caricatures of people is quite simple.

First of all, we need photos of the people you want to give this unique gift to.

Remember that this photo has to be of good quality, well lit and not blurry (this is the most important thing?

Once we have the photo, we use a digital tablet on which we make all the strokes by hand.

First of all, we outline the contour of the figures, once the contour is finished, we begin to add color and once the color is added, we exaggerate the facial features that you specify.

Each cartoon is totally unique, no two are the same.

The entire process, from the moment you place your order until we send you the first version of the cartoon, usually takes between 24 and 48 business hours (Monday through Friday).

Can you make a caricature from a photo online for free?

It's possible to create a caricature for free with apps like Fotor or Insmind. If you're looking for a result that isn't too complex or detailed, these apps are a good way to try out and get your drawing done in just a few seconds.

But if what you want is a handmade caricature, created by professional artists who dedicate time to each of the photos we work with, we are your solution.

The bad thing about free apps is that many times you don't get the result you had in mind, or maybe you do get it but you want a small change and it's not possible to do so.

We, on the other hand, always make the changes you want, no matter how many changes you request, they are all included in the price.

How long does it take to make a cartoon?

It takes us approximately 24 to 48 hours to complete your caricature. This will depend on the time of year. For special holidays like Valentine's Day, Christmas, Mother's Day, or Father's Day, it may take a little longer, but you'll always receive your caricature in time for gift-giving.

You'll receive the first version via WhatsApp, and if you've chosen a printed format, you'll receive it within 1 to 3 business days after confirming that you like the result of your drawing.

The total time to receive your framed, ready-to-hang caricature is between 5 and 7 business days, so if you need it for a special gift, be sure to order it in advance.

Steps to order your caricature of a person

Ordering your caricature is very simple. The first thing you need to do is select the photo of the person you want us to draw.

As we mentioned before, the photo must be of good quality. Avoid dark and blurry photos. If you have any doubts about which photo to use, please contact us first so we can advise you.

Once you've selected your photo, head to our product page to specify the format you want your caricature in. We have two types of formats: digital or print.

The digital format is designed for people who want to print their caricature themselves; it's a cheaper format.

The printed format is available if you'd like your caricature in a framed frame, on a print (unframed), or on canvas. We have different sizes available; check the product page.

Once you know the format you want, it's time to select the number of people who will appear in the caricature. The price varies depending on how many people or pets appear in the photo.

Once you've chosen the number of people, choose the background color you want the cartoon to have.

Finally, specify all the details you want it to have, try to be clear.

All you have to do is place your order and we'll get to work once we receive it.
